What can I say…
What can I say about Ray? Not enough. Ray Smith of Precision Design and Cabinetry will take your design to completion. He is the man that will do all the detail work. He will make your wishes a reality.
On our remodel, he first took charge of all the detailed design of the cabinets, colors and finishes and ordering them to get the process rolling. Then cam all the demolition, the plumbing, the electrical work, the drywall, the ceramic floor tile installation, the painting, the custom shelving, cabinetry baseboard installation, the backsplash tile, the countertop and island stone ordering and installation, appliance installation. He also dealt with all the inspections – sometimes a royal pain. You get the point. He did it all. He arranged all the subs and coordinated them while we were gone for the summer. It was 95% done when we came back. It was the usual punch list then. But it was beautiful and easily livable.
Ray has a meticulous attention to detail and doing what you wish. He will give a design opinion if asked. He has a wealth of experiences. Besides this, he has a cute sense of humor and laugh.

A kitchen remodel
In speaking to Ray about a kitchen remodel, we knew we had our man! Ray is nothing if not honest, and just as importantly, detail oriented. Nothing gets past Ray on the road to perfection. We recently remodeled a mid-century townhouse and worked with Ray Smith of Precision Design & Cabinetry to create a gorgeous and highly functional kitchen. The design process was thorough and thoughtful. The wide selection available through WoodHarbor allowed us to choose a style and finish that complemented the design of the entire townhouse. The cabinets are rock solid, the hardware functions perfectly, and the installation is excellent (despite the challenges of working with block wall construction). Problems are inevitable in any construction project and how a contractor deals with them tells you a lot. Our issues were minor, and Ray addressed them forthrightly, never made excuses, and corrected them quickly. Throughout the entire process Ray was honest, easy to communicate with, and delivered on his promises and timeline. We are delighted with the results and highly recommend Precision Design & Cabinetry.
