This whole-home transformation was anchored by a kitchen that balances warmth and drama in equal measure. Custom maple cabinetry in a rich Woodharbor Bourbon stain sets the tone throughout, while a striking Georgian Bay Blue island — finished in a contrasting custom color — becomes the room's centerpiece. What was once a cramped counter footprint is now a generous island with seating for two, backed by a bold blue tile backsplash that plays beautifully off the island's color.
Just off the island, a new butler's pantry adds valuable function and flexibility — extra storage plus a dedicated spot for a wall-mounted TV, keeping the main kitchen clean and uncluttered.
To tie the design language together, the island and the guest bath vanity were topped in a distinct quartz — a subtle contrast to the rest of the cabinetry that gives each space its own character within the whole-home palette.
In the family room, a custom entertainment center with tapered legs brings a furniture-quality look to built-in storage. Nearby, a dated tile fireplace was re-imagined with a gleaming quartz hearth and a warm wood mantel — now a true focal point.
The guest bath saw a full transformation as well: the old tub was removed in favor of a walk-in shower featuring vibrant tile and sliding barn-door glass panels, blending style and everyday practicality.
Rounding out the project, this remodel included new lighting throughout, luxury vinyl plank flooring, updated baseboards, fresh drywall and paint, custom shower builds, framed-in pot shelving for added storage above a bedroom closet, and the reconfiguration of two sliding-door closets into a single, spacious walk-in.
