Recently Precision Design & Cabinetry transformed a traditional kitchen into a visually pleasing, highly functional space that now serves as the true heart of the home. This project showcases how thoughtful design and craftsmanship can deliver both style and everyday living.
At the center of the remodel are WoodHarbor cabinets in a rich Morel opaque stain on maple, paired with elegant Taj Mahal quartzite countertops. Together, they create a warm and sophisticated palette, perfect for entertaining or family gatherings.
To maximize function, we introduced two pantry cabinets with rollouts, a built-in undercounter beverage center and additional storage by converting a large window wall into a combination of cabinetry and appliances. The kitchen now boasts stainless steel appliances, a striking hood, a gas cooktop and an seamlessly integrated microwave. Converting to a gas cooktop was a special request from the homeowner.
Beyond the kitchen, the remodel addressed special challenges, including opening walls on two sides to connect the kitchen to the family room while ensuring structural integrity for the second story above. The laundry room was expanded and reimagined for productivity, complete with hinged doors and the addition of air conditioning.
Lighting was upgraded with LED upgrades and layered illumination, providing both ambiance and efficiency. Even the existing travertine tile was carefully preserved, repaired as needed and blended into the design.
